Digital Farm Fun

Stardew Valley

After the usual morning routine the roommate left to run some errands so I took the opportunity to work on my farm for a couple more days. It was raining on the first day so I harvested and replanted all the crops I could then spent the rest of the day in the mines.

The next day was spent watering my plants then running around. I opened up a few geodes and donated 3 new things to the library. I also bought myself a new sword for my next trip into the mines. So far my farm looks nothing like I have laid out in the planner. I’m sharing the link because I realize that it doesn’t work the way I thought it did so no one can mess up my design.

More Farm Time

Played through a few more days, still in Spring. I have got the coop finished and just upgraded my first tool, the axe. Can’t wait to go buy a chicken so it can poop out some eggs for me! I did some fishing and mining as well. Got my farming skill to five and chose tiller. I feel like I’m doing pretty well for myself. No new bundles completed, but I did add a couple of items to a few of them.

QuickBooks

After that, it was time to get down to business. I’m sure once I get caught up it won’t be so bad, but all this data entry is tedious and mind-numbing. It only took about an hour to go back through all the historical data and ad a bit more expenses. There’s still a large portion I need to enter, employee wages, but that will take a lot of work. Things are getting more complete in our QuickBooks though.

Today’s featured image is (you guessed it) more clouds! There was just something that drew me to the way the clouds layered themselves with the contrasting light and dark at dawn.
