How hard is it to find a jungle in Minecraft? Really hard, it seems. I’ve explored all over, thousands of blocks. Checking the edges of all the warm climate biomes, and not a single jungle. I found the most massive mesa I’ve ever seen, but still no jungle.
I really wish I could find a simple mapping solution. I’ve gone through multiple horses due to oceans. I’m having to stop and cook after killing so many animals because I ran out of food long ago. I can’t risk flying much more as I’ve nearly run out of durability on my elytra. All I want is a single piece of bamboo!
I finally turned around and headed back home and on my way I found a jungle! Unfortunately it was something I already generated and didn’t have any bamboo. Then I realized that even though bamboo exists in this version (1.8), it’s not actually available in the world until version 1.9! So all that running around was completely pointless.
First stop once I was back home was to repair my elytra. I really didn’t do a good job of planning my journey, my inventory had way too much junk in it. I think I need to head back to the end to get more shulker boxes. I’ve now stocked up on fireworks and am ready to go get more storage!
