Morning
No Man’s Sky
Well, I did it! While drinking my morning coffee I fired up No Man’s Sky and I got the quantum processor recipe from the first manufacturing facility I visited! Now I can make stasis devices from scratch. As soon as I got the recipe I went back to my base and began crafting.
I only had enough materials on hand to make a single stasis device, but that was 15m units I didn’t have before that. Right now I am just shy on plants. Basically I just need solanium and gamma weed to grow to make more. I had been stockpiling a few pieces of the recipes from frigate missions.
Stasis Device Farm
My next goal is to make a farm base where I can build one stasis device from scratch per harvest of everything. I’m really not sure exactly how possible it is because of some of the required components but we’ll see once I break it all down.
I’ve got a link to a google sheet someone else put together with their method from reddit. I need to break it down a little bit more to see if it’s possible to do it without having to actually purchase any materials. At the very least that spreadsheet has a breakdown of the crops I need for direct crafting.
But for the time being I’m not going to worry about that so much because I still have nearly enough materials to make four more stasis devices to sell. As I said, I’m short the solanium and star bulb for now, I just need circuit boards.
I’m having issues getting all the episodes of Mr Robot. Seems they’re not all still being seeded fully. At this point I’m kind of stuck, as the next couple of episodes to watch aren’t all there. There are a few different approaches though.
Work
Almost forgot I had to do some work today. And I have a feeling it will once again be a bit stressful. Got owners coming in tomorrow, need to get their villa opened up and cleaned a bit for them. I went by and unlocked the place, just need the handyman to come by and put out all the furniture and the housekeeper to do a bit of cleanup. Haven’t heard from either yet today.
If needed I can easily get the furniture put out, but all the rest of the work that needs to be done is not in my wheelhouse. That place is clusterfuck anyway. Too many keys and we don’t even have all of them. One door takes a different key from each side, another door’s lock is busted.
Well, the housekeeper called in, she’ll be up there later today. I think I messed up by not making sure she knew about this. I’m really not meant to be in this position, but I’m learning still. That’s my excuse at least. Still nothing from the handyman, but if needed I can put the furniture out myself.
Afternoon
Heard from the handyman now, he’ll be going by later to move the furniture so all is good. I really am not meant to be in charge. I know this and have known it for years.
Don’t Starve
I played a bit more Don’t Starve. I think I might not be doing so well. Winter has come and I don’t have a thermal stone. Not only that but all the stone patches are too far away to visit without freezing. My food is turning stale even though I have a lot of it. I think it might be the end of me. Should probably start over.
Mr Robot
I’ve spent most of the afternoon watching Mr Robot. Finally caught up to where I stopped before. The show is compelling, I really don’t know why I stopped watching.
Evening
Gotta check up on the villa and see how things are going. Need to make sure the furniture got put out, see if the housekeeper ever made it there. When I arrived neither had shown up so I went about putting out the furniture. Not long after I was joined by the handyman. In the end the housekeeper never made it, she will be out early in the morning hopefully.
I spent the rest of the evening binging Mr Robot. Made it all the way through season 2. The show has kept me on my toes, always full of twists and surprises. I still have season 3 to watch, then eventually there will be a fourth season.
