Sunset Scaffolding

Work

Work today? Almost. . . Basically I had to unlock a house for the exterminator and re-lock it when he was done. So exciting! It’s been a very slow week. Bookings are still way down and people seem to be afraid to come here after the hurricane. I really hope things change soon.

Minecraft

So, because it was such an easy day I spent my time watching The Rookie and playing Minecraft. I didn’t really get a whole lot done, but I went back to my villager breeder. I killed off many villagers who were useless to me and stored a couple of good guys in the captive halls. So far I’ve got 14 captives, and I’ve expanded the halls to allow for another 10 (plus planning for another 8 beyond that).

Scaffolding

During that time I got the one bamboo shoot to grow into many and made myself some scaffolding. That stuff is nice! I like the ability to climb and descend, how you can build up from the bottom, and can take it all down by breaking one block. Scaffolding is a block Minecraft has needed for a long time. The only gripe I have is that you can only build out (without gravity) a certain distance from the base of the scaffolding.

Consolidation

I also continued my consolidation of materials into shulker boxes. I now have one for glass, wool, terracotta, concrete, and dyes. It really makes doing stuff so much easier being able to have all that stuff in one place, no matter where you are. All I have to do is carry around an ender chest and I have access to it all.

Featured Image

Today’s featured image was taken at sunset. I absolutely love how the light plays over the horizon and the sky is so colorful. Honestly, the picture doesn’t do justice to what it looked like in person.
