Drop-Off
So, the handyman is leaving for a couple of weeks over the Christmas holiday. I did a quick run to take him to the ferry. On the way out I was flagged down by a random old dude asking for a ride. Luckily he was going my way so I drove him on to his destination. I wasn’t familiar with where he was asking to go so he had to direct me, but he was not very good at communicating.
Pool Service
Tomorrow is going to be a busy day since the handyman is gone and we have a check-in. The roommate’s boyfriend and I will be doing his duties in preparation for the arrival. So after dropping off the rando I headed over to do half my pools. I saved the villa next door and home for tomorrow. Our pool isn’t a priority and the villa next door is where the guests will be coming.
Minecraft
I didn’t really do a whole lot in Minecraft at first. I spent a bit of time caving. Lit up a bunch of caves around the witch hut and collected a decent amount of iron and coal.
I also spent a little time in the nether re-exploring the fortress there. I’ve figured out where to setup a wither skeleton killing ground. I just wish it were a little bit closer to the portal.
I’m really not feeling a whole lot of motivation to play right now though. I have ideas and things I want to do but I just can’t get started. It’s been an ongoing issue in many areas for me lately. Hell, sometimes I can’t even find the motivation to keep writing here.
Chicken
I did end up putting together an automatic chicken farm. There really is no point not to. I just followed this tutorial and threw one together really quick while playing with my villagers some more. I’m happy it works in bedrock edition and it shouldn’t cause lag from a constant clock.
Movies
I’ve added a few new movies to my “To watch” list. And I’ve actually published the page now, so check it out here. I know there are a TON of movies missing from the watched list. There’s no way I can keep that list accurate, it would take too long and I’m sure I’ve forgotten a ton of movie titles.
Maybe I’ll flesh it out more, but for now it’s more about tracking recent movies I’ve seen as well as keeping a list of movies I want to see. This way I can prevent myself from losing track of movies I’m interested in. Got any suggestions?
