Four Seasons

Tossing and Turning

Ugh, didn’t sleep well again. I’m not sure exactly why, but it might actually be the air conditioning. Maybe it’s too low even though it’s only set to 68. Maybe I’ve just grown accustomed to sleeping without it. I’m going to try turning the temperature up a little bit to see what that does for me tonight.

Because I barely slept, I instead spent the night half-sleeping while watching more YouTube videos. I finally dragged myself out of bed early because it seemed pointless to keep laying there.

More Stardew Valley

I really feel like I’m behind the curve in the game. I finally got a silo, without realizing I could have bought it much sooner. I’ve upgraded my pick, axe, and watering can to steel. I also have the biggest possible backpack. And it’s only fall of the first year. I guess I should look into keeping animals.

Expanding

I’ve now grown my house with the first upgrade. I won the grange display contest in the Stardew Valley Fair and used my prize to get my first Rarecrow. Things are moving along pretty well for me in the game.

Winter

Well, I’ve made it to my first winter! I wish I had paid more attention earlier on to the community center. I will have to get all the spring crops done when the season changes. There are certain things I’ll have to try to focus on for the center, but it’s coming along.

The Amazing House

Ugh, they’re here working today. Mostly they’re just moving dirt around, literally. They have to level out a lot of land around the house so they’re carting dirt around in wheelbarrow. I hope they get done with it soon, it’s kind of distracting.

New Format

As you can see, this is an example of when the new format fails a little. It was a fairly boring day spent mostly playing Stardew Valley. That doesn’t exactly lead to exciting blog posts. . .
